But our favorite (which is an out-and-out lie), is the one Ms. Urtecho starts out with, \u201cMonosodium Glutamate (MSG) is a popular flavor additive primarily found in Chinese cuisine, but can also be found in tomatoes, meats, and certain cheeses.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019ve said it before, and looks like we\u2019ll be saying it again and again:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>MSG is manufactured.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>MSG is man-made in food processing or chemical plants.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>In the U.S. MSG is manufactured in a plant in Eddyville Iowa.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>There is no MSG (glutamate yes, but not MSG) in tomatoes, meats, or any cheeses \u2013 unless the manufacturer has added it.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>If you have questions or comments, we\u2019d love to hear from you.
